It's all me, except for the name...
I released a new song every week of 2023 under the name One Moe Joe. All songs were written, played, recorded, mixed etc by me... The songs were presented every Saturday morning in the "Spotlight on Swiss music" on Radio Bern (rabe.ch). At my concerts I enjoy playing a variety of songs from my repertoire (both my own and covers).
Rock and roll
Founded in 2008 as a rockabilly cover band, the Skinny Jim Tennessee Trio has transformed. Today they compose their own songs, exploring different styles and sources of inspiration. The trio - Benjamin Glaus on guitar and vocals, Jan Trösch on bass and Daniel Kohler on drums - has become a dynamic force. Her repertoire reflects her creative diversity and promises a captivating, multi-faceted musical experience for her audience.
Rockabilly
Los Engineers take us back to the roots of rockabilly with minimal technology and maximum energy. We interpret songs from the Sun Records era. One voice, two guitars and the characteristic slap sound of the double bass – what more could you want...? (Tommy Spade: double bass. Marc Landolf: electric guitar. Benjamin Glaus: guitar, vocals)
Sixties
The Repeatles, the original among the cover bands, consisting of the Swiss rock legends Housi Wittlin, Stöffu Kohli (Span) and Samuel Mumenthaler (Ex Züri West, Phon Roll), as well as the not-so-young youngster Benjamin Glaus. Together they bring the hits of the sixties to the stage. (Housi Wittlin: guitar, vocals. Sam Mumenthaler: drums, vocals. Christoph Kohli: bass, vocals. Benjamin Glaus: guitar, vocals)
Country
New on stage and already full of country fever: The quartet around the gifted singer Luciana Di Nardo brings the classics from Patsy Cline to Dolly Parton and the power of the Dixie Chicks into the here and now with a fresh, personal touch. The band - with Jan Trösch (bass/guitar), Daniel Kohler (drums) and Benjamin Glaus (bass/guitar) - combines modern verve with a traditional sound and invites you to sing along, dance along and dream. So, dear line dancers and country fans: dust off your cowgirl hats and cowboy boots - here comes country music that goes straight to the heart and feet!
Blues Trash
